It started from a small group of people in Jakarta who love to gather and play games.

At first we met every Friday at Starbucks Coffee, Oakwood Mega Kuningan. A nice and cozy place to hang out and play games together. It was intended to be a biweekly meeting. Not long the meet up was held once a week. Soon many more people later joined us and suddenly the place and tables where we usually sit can no longer accomodate our gaming sessions. A new place was needed. Luckily not long after that we found a new place that has better atmosphere with bigger and better tables. The place is called 2C Coffee Club, located at Bellagio, Mega Kuningan. The journey started there.

And now some months later, the group has grown, from small to large, from large to a fast-growing community that keeps inviting more and more new people and introducing them to this beloved hobby.

Hence was born this site with the intention of uniting boardgamers in the city. Also the first boardgamers community in Jakarta was born, which after so many discussions we had agreed upon using the name Batavia Boardgaming Community for it.

This site is dedicated to boardgamers from all around Jakarta. It is a place where people can find many informations about upcoming meet-up, upcoming event and reports, new places to meet, new people to meet and play games with and many more other informations that can be useful for them gamers.
